Revolutionizing Wound Healing with Bioelectronic Medicine & Advanced Hydrogels

Our Journey: Expertise & Innovation in Hydrogel Technology

At IST, we are at the forefront of bioelectronic medicine and next-generation wound healing solutions. Leveraging our advanced, functionalized hydrogels, we are developing smart bandages and bioelectronic wound care systems that integrate electrical stimulation and photothermal effects to accelerate healing, reduce infection, and enhance patient recovery.

A few years ago, IST acquired exclusive intellectual property, including trade secrets, manufacturing processes, and commercial rights to a unique biomedical hydrogel from a leader in the industry. Initially, our focus was to manufacture and integrate this hydrogel technology into our BRAIN Buds VNS system for bioelectronic neuromodulation.

From our engagement and contracted manufacturing work with SEMI-NBMC since 2021, we have been inspired to push the boundaries of hydrogel materials and applications in FlexTech and MedTech. Through advanced engineering of hydrogel networks, we have created HydraLum and HydraMet, groundbreaking conductive, skin-like, hydrogels that enable a new era of smart wound care management.

Hydrogel-Optimized Photothermal & Electrical (H.O.P.E.) Wound Therapy

Our proprietary hydrogels are engineered to provide optimal wound healing conditions while integrating with bioelectronic and photoactive therapies.

Functionalized Chemistry – Infused with free-radical scavengers, metal salts, and self-healing polymers
Antimicrobial & Antibacterial – Inert yet effective at reducing infection risk
Optically & Electrically Active – Responsive to electrical currents and near-infrared light
Enhanced Hemostasis – Improves blood clotting and wound stabilization
Photo-thermal & Bioelectronic Effects – Stimulates tissue regeneration, modulates inflammation, and accelerates healing

HydraLum & HydraMet: Smart Hydrogels for Bioelectronic Wound Healing.

We envision a future where wound care is dynamic, intelligent, and patient-centered. Our HydraLum and HydraMet functionalized hydrogels will provide adaptive treatments and enhanced healing capabilities.

We are actively seeking strategic partners, healthcare providers, and funding agencies to bring next-gen wound care solutions to market. Let’s revolutionize healing together.
